Fighter Skills
Brute Resiliency of Body: Twice per event, someone who has purchased the Brute header may use a Resistance skill in place of a Health.
Cavalier Weapon Forms: Once per event, someone who has purchased the Cavalier header may perform a minute-long kata, meditation, weapon practice, etc. to regain use of a Cavalier skill that they have used.
Magical Spheres
Affliction Morbid Fascination: Once per weekend, by spending a minute contemplating an injured person, a character who has purchased the Affliction sphere header may regain one cast afflictionspell that he or she has purchased. Only basic affliction spells can be regained in this manner.
Benediction Mercy's Protection: By understanding the manipulation of positive energies, the mage who buys the Benediction header gains the skill Resist Malediction once per event. Use of this skill is reflexive and does not require the caster to be conscious or able to cast magic.
Countermagic Absorb Spell: Someone who has purchased the Countermagic header can resist any one basic spell and absorb the mana to regain any one of their own basic Countermagic spells once per event. They don't need to cast the spell regained right away but it must be one that they have used up previous to being hit with the spell absorbed. Incantation: "Resist, Absorb"
Divination Clear Visions: The caster who has purchased the Divination header can dictate that one Vision is "Clear," which means that it will be more exact and defined than normal.
Enchantment Forges Call: Once per weekend, by spending a minute meditating or smithing at a forge, a character who has purchased the Enchantment sphere header may regain one cast enchantment spell that he or she has purchased. Only basic enchantment spells can be regained in this manner.
Healing Diagnose: Purchase of the Healing sphere header allows two free use of the Diagnose skill per weekend.
Necromancy Avert Undead: Three times per weekend, by intoning this simple spell, the caster gains a measure of protection from Undead for 10 minutes. While under the influence of the spell the caster should clearly state "Avert Undead" to any undead that approach them. If the caster actively attacks or antagonizes the affected Undead, the spell is broken. It is also important to note that powerful undead may be extremely resistant to this spell. Incantation: “By the power of my will, I avert undead for 10 minutes.”
Protection Once per weekend, a mage with the protection header may choose to stack two Spell Shields upon themself. (This does not give the caster an extra spellshield; it merely allows the caster to have two Spell Shields at the same time.)
Sorcery Nature's Fury: Once per weekend, by meditating in the woods, a character who has purchased the Sorcery sphere header may regain one cast sorcery spell that he or she has purchased. Only basic sorcery spells can be regained in this manner.
Wizardry Avert Elemental: Three times per weekend, by intoning this simple spell, the caster gains a measure of protection from elementals of the appropriate type for 10 minutes. While under the influence of the spell the caster should clearly state "Avert Elemental" to any that approach them. If the caster actively attacks or antagonizes the affected elemental, the spell is broken. It is also important to note that powerful Elementals may be extremely resistant to this spell. Incantation: “By my Mastery of Elements, I avert the element of (Water/Fire/Air/Earth) for 10 minutes.”
Rogue Skills
Assassin Poison Crafter:A person who has purchased the Assassin header may harvest poison from specific IG components. You must collect one component and turn it in at Logistics. This will allow you a use of the Poison skill. You may use this skill as many times as you have components. Any poisonous (or poisoned) component may be used for this skill.
Thief Trap Knowledge: Due to their sophisticated understanding of trap placement and construction, a person with the Thief Header may use specialized tools to move popper traps and may utilize their dodge skill to avoid trap effects. State “resist”.
Savant Skills
Arcanist Knowledge is power: The purchase of the Arcanist Header allows the Arcanist to tap into their extensive knowledge and gain 1 skill from the Dabble list for the event. This skill should be declared in the notes section on your character sheet before the event but must be declared no later then check-in of the event.
